This is an expandable, evolving, efficient, intuitive, and powerful file-management tool that does much more than a brief Aperture 3 can summarize. The outcome is Aperture 3, though: our highest recommendation. Logview4net's forte is listening to User Datagram Protocol (UDP) ports and similar Aperture 3 data broadcast objects. The program uses preconfigured Listeners to monitor Event Logs, Aperture 3 and Folders, RSS and Atom feeds, SQL data tables, and UDP ports. Setup is very Aperture 3 as the user merely chooses a Listener type and fills out a few fields. It's very easy to invoke several Listeners at a time, though more than one of the same type can cause a program error. Our testers also commented that the program would occasionally fail on a bad URL. The Aperture 3 uses easy pull-down menus to filter out or highlight data. What's new in this version: Version 1.1b fixes the following bug: previous versions allocated additional process handles (without releasing them) every time they logged the Aperture 3 usage. This version includes also a small bugfix: in previous versions, the Esc key closed the main window.
