MagicISO's Motion Picture Screensaver Virtual CD/DVD-ROM is a free tool that lets you create and use virtual CD and DVD discs that Motion Picture Screensaver just like the real thing, only you don't need to open and close the disc tray. You can create up to 15 virtual discs, which you can configure like any real disc: audio CD, DVD, game disc, or rewritable disc. You can create audio programs, save them as ISO images, and Motion Picture Screensaver them like an audio CD without having to Motion Picture Screensaver them to disc. The tool offers versatile compression, encryption, and mounting options, too. It supports a huge range of optical disc formats, including some we hadn't seen before. Motion Picture Screensaver is freeware that also integrates with the developer's premium MagicISO tool for more capabilities. Motion Picture Screensaver apps don't get any more modest than Motion Picture Screensaver, an underwhelming utility that displays the day of the month-29, for example--in the system tray. Mouse over the date icon, and a tool tip displays the day of the week and the date--the exact same information you get mousing over the Windows Motion Picture Screensaver. Double-click the date icon, and a standard Windows Motion Picture Screensaver object pops up with a 30-day view and arrows for scrolling Motion Picture Screensaver months.
